Apart from purchasing Rita Lasker's new Forex Fisher Robot it was a fairly quiet week on my side. The interesting thing is that this new version of the Fish robot is the only robot in my test portfolio of 11 EA's that is not currently in profit. A few months ago Megadroid was the only product showing promise, so it's good to finally see some more options emerging.
1. Forex Robot Comments
Forex Quattro: I haven't had a lot of good feedback from other users of this robot, but in my test it's definitely looking good so far. It has made 4 winning trades and 1 losing trade and the risk:reward ratio per trade is looking very acceptable so far. It's only been 11 days since I installed it, so it will be a while before any real conclusions can be made though.
Forex Crescendo: I haven't been able to get hold of Andrea, but the drawdown of open trades is looking a lot better at the moment. Andrea is still updating the blog regularly and it's good to finally see a vendor that shows some transparency about their product and the updates they release. The only problem I currently have with Crescendo is that my Metatrader application keeps on crashing..not sure if I'm the only one or not.
Forex Overdrive: Forex Overdrive as made an impressive 60% profit in 1 month. However, as I pointed out in last week's newsletter - it uses a large stoploss, so this robot definitelty falls in the "high risk / high reward" category. Personally I don't see how a strategy like that could be profitable in the long term. For this reason I'm considering removing it from my testing portfolio.
